The Blush Grove Mini introduces a different expression of citrus through grapefruit bought at the local market, chosen for its colour, scale and internal structure. The fruit was sliced, painted through a silk screen and photographed, and the slices move across a soft blush ground.
Most of the collection begins with fruit gifted by Riverina growers. The market is where most people meet citrus, at the end of a long chain of work they rarely see, and this fruit carries that distance into the collection. Its oversized forms bring a playful sense of proportion, while the process keeps the irregularities of each cut surface. The structured A-line balances the organic artwork with a clean, contemporary shape.
