The Bloodline Drape takes the citrus cross-section beyond its familiar form, enlarging it until the fruit becomes an abstract landscape of flesh, membrane and colour. Acrylic was pulled through a silk screen straight onto the cut blood orange, so paint and juice meet on the surface, and the photograph holds that moment. Deep reds and burnt oranges reveal an unexpected intensity in something so ordinary.
The skirt is constructed through whole cloth draping: the fabric falls and wraps around the body instead of being broken into conventional pattern pieces. Its exposed selvedge acknowledges the original textile and leaves the evidence of manufacture visible. The archive keeps each conversation as it happened, without a tidy edit, and the cloth is treated the same way.
