The Orange Grove Short continues the collection’s exploration of repetition and individuality. Painted fruit slices overlap across a saturated orange ground, building a visual rhythm that recalls the movement of produce through harvesting, sorting and packing.
Although the motifs repeat, every slice was real fruit, painted and photographed, and each keeps its own differences in shape, surface and texture. These small irregularities become a record of the making process, celebrating the human and organic qualities behind production.
