The Bloodline Trouser translates the interior of citrus into an expansive, almost architectural print. Enlarged blood orange sections are mirrored down each leg, revealing intricate natural structures through rich reds, burnt orange and deep shadow.
The scale asks you to look closely at something usually passed over, the same attention the archive gives to work that is rarely asked about. Painted by hand and photographed before it could spoil, a familiar agricultural product becomes a permanent record of touch and transformation. The generous silhouette gives the image room to move with the body.
