When the families gave us fruit for the prints, it came in a plain orange bag. This piece is our interpretation of it: the everyday thing that carried the gift, made into something to wear. An orange layer sits inside sheer white, so the colour shows through the way fruit does through a bag.
Double bonded silk organza and cotton gives it enough body to hold its own shape while staying light and translucent, and a large metal zip opens it the way a bag would.
